It's almost as though they use her character to drag Peter down so they do not have to come up with more elaborate fight scenes.
I want 300% more fight scenes -- I want to "want" to be Spiderman and Spiderman (if its me) does not have a dead-weight nagging girlfriend.
Now if it was Megan Fox and she was like "Spidey I want to go to the movies" we'd be like GO
Michelle Monaghan from "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" would have been a perfect Mary Jane, she does guyish sarcastic humor really well, not too big of a star (yet), and is hot.
