Atkins Diet: Accountability

Uploaded by: bowulf
Video Description:
aka "Temptation, Visualization, Success... Oh My! (Part 2)"
This video is the second in the Temptation Resistance series. Accountability is probably one of the most helpful suggestions I have for new dieters. Being accountable to oneself and to others absolutely helps fight the temptations. I was so much less likely to go offplan when I knew others were also around me looking for what a low carber really ate.
So rather than being a negative, the cynics, which I readily admit I was at one time, and the naysayers were a HUGE blessing in disguise.

Good job talking about accountability, and the requirement to forming relationships to hold you such.
Accountability has ... ( 2 years ago by bowulf)
Accountability has a role in all aspects of life from relationships to work life to community roles. Outlining it with dieting is only one small part. Unfortunately for me, that some of other areas are not as easily achieved or achieved. In the end with most things, you are much better being part of a group than you are on your own. People need to be challenged by others and keep challenging themselves to not simply accept what they can change.
Carbs have always ... ( 1 year ago by bowulf)
Carbs have always been in my diet. (Atkins is not a no carb diet.) I have certainly added more carbs back into my diet than during Induction -- most low carb followers even at goal do not eat over 100g per day though. I eat between 30-45g/day. As for eating "normally," I would claim I am.
