I'm very sorry if you or anyone else was offended by what I considered at the time to be a lighthearted remark. :-( I strongly believe in conservation of the rainforests, not only for the sake of the tribal people, plants and flowers, and birds and animals that live there but also that of the world's climate and atmosphere.
