Ines Aurelies is the Mistress of the Tavington Estate and the wife of Jason Tavington, the Listener of London and Head of the Tavington Family. She is also the mother of the couple's twins, William and Sophie.
Ines was born in The Rijos, Spain to Vincente and Sofia Aurelies. Her life was very much a dream. She was raised on a vineyard and part of the patriarch family of the Deatheaters. She and her husband had long been childhood friends and then lovers in their teens until tragedy struck and her family was forced into hiding.
During that time she married Barty McShain and in their short time they learned to love each other even though she knew her heart and her soul belonged to Jason. She and Barty no matter their efforts could not have children.
After her family was released from hiding she moved with her sister to London. It was there she was reunited with Jason Tavington but both saw each other as friends and not the lovers they once were.
It was that way until Ines began a relationship with Enrique Delacruz, the then Listener of Paris, and thought she found the man she could love again until Jason, jealous of Ines' attention for another man, manuevered Ines' father to arrange a marriage to himself effectively ending Ines' possible future with Enrique.
Ines' forced marriage to Jason made her hate the man she once loved. In her heart of hearts she was still in love with Jason but how he went about to have her again angered her greatly.
The couple soon reconciled before their wedding date and soon after, after many trials and frustrations, Ines became pregnant and gave birth to their twins, William and Sophie. William is named after Jason's father and Sophie's name is in honor and play off Ines' mother's name Sofia.
