I love these videos. Nastia is one of the best things to ever happen to gymnastics, seriously. I hope she's not too sad there's only a few weeks left to this Olympics. she could truly be legendary if she keeps going.

yeah, I would cry and melt down if Nastia retired after the Olys. For one, I think she's way more special than almost anyone in gymnastics. And two, I think her vaulting and floor routines are improving with age. The other two events we know she can do in her sleep, but seeing her tumble so well lately and stick her vaults is just awesome. She can break all sorts of medal records down the line at Worlds and such. And she's getting paid major money to do this.

PS, I love this video and Nastia looks so happy, relaxed, and excited! I try not to over analyze the "sad" comment... It's probably just weird that there's only a couple weeks left until this competition that they've been focusing on the whole quad, and pretty much their entire gymnastics careers since they weren't age eligible for the last Olympics.

It's already been said that Nastia will continue through World Championships atleast, in order to try for 10 medals - to beat Shannon Miller's record. I really don't think she will retire after the Olympics.

it would not be a disaster, but it is just extremely unlikely.
chellsie will make uneven bar finals for sure tho so im happy for her
there is also a possibility that she might make floor finals because she is planning to upgrade her double full pass to her whip whip double arabian pass which would give her a 6.6 start
