Finally a reply that's not full of bashing! =D Normally I have to point out that I am not bashing SP. In fact, I love all the Journey singers, I can't say I even have a favorite. They are all good in their own way. I want to hear more stuff with Jeff Scott Soto to be honest.

fyi, by comparing, we pick the similarity & by contrasting, we pick the difference. SP was the beneficiary of the + cumulative causation unlike FLEISCHMAN (before SP) & AUGERI/SOTO (after SP) w/ the fans' slamming each other wasn't that amplifying. SP was the "ONE" by then. but look now, the impact AP made on JRNY is positively huge that the slamming is so explosive. though the bell struck the schooner, would u remain silent?
AP's cover is better here than SP & so are the rest

I love SP but LIFE GOES ON. SP left Journey; Journey didn't leave SP. AP is doing a fantastic job in replacing SP; let's just wish all of them many years of success. It's usually the Lead Singer that takes the sound away when they leave and the band is in such a hurry that they replace the Lead Singer with someone that doesn't have the right sound. This time Journey was the one that GOT IT RIGHT and did so by giving AP the Lead Singer of Journey and he's done Journey proud. BRAVO AP.
