Why are the dance routines this year of Sinulog similar to that of last year?
Why are the music and beat also similar from last year?
Why are the formations of the dancers the same with last year too!
If that's the case, no doubt SINULOG talaga mananalo. KAHIT 100 years pa siguro!

People's Champ ang Dinagyang.
Most of the people here in Metro Manila who watched the Aliwan Fiesta 2008 likes the Dinagyang performance.
Kahit di sila nagchampion sa Aliwan Fiesta we are still agog with their performance.
This is why we will be watching them tomorrow in Makati City.
Di naman ako makapunta ng Iloilo kaya dito ko na lang sila abangan.

congrats sainyo!! atleast kahit di kami nanalo (voyadores and pilgrims festival) ok lang yun..atleast yung experience being a participant is more than enough..aminin namin 4 weeks lang kami nagpractice nd yung routines namin di naman pwedeng mabilis na parang pang cheerdance kasi solemn yung festival namin.. VIVA LA VIRGEN!!! VIVA! VIVA! VIVA! congrats ulit sainyo!

got this information from the regional head of the dept of tourism in western visayas. the results in the recent aliwan festival was really very questionable. kaya lang wala na magagawa kase decision of the judges was final. although, nakita talaga ang sobrang pag ka bias ng 3 judges in favor of lumad basakanon. there were 7 judges this year. and 4 out of 7 judges gave Dinagyang the #1 rank. the remaining 3 judges gave dinagyang 3rd or 4th position lang.

that means, majority pa rin ng judges (4 out of 7) thought that Dinagyang is the grand winner. kaya lang talagang ganyan ang buhay. to Dinagyang, even though you didnt get the grand prize, still para sa mga taong nanood sa aliwan think that Dinagyang talaga ang grand champion. grabe talaga ang palakpakan at sigawan ng mga tao. sobrang nakakabingi.

lively talaga ang dinagyang... ewan ko nga kong bakit nanalo ang sinulog kahit di naman masyadong maganda ang performance nila, siguro dahil sa mga formation nila, pero para sa akin di sapat na dahilan yun para manalo... the best ever parin ang dinagyang.

i think dinagyang is the best festival in the philippines. im from manila and ive been to masskara(bacolod) and sinulog(cebu) but i think dinagyang(iloilo) ranks first? Ay mali pala. sinulog pala kasi sila ang 3 times grandslam hall of famer,world class na sila, second is masskara, both have cultural linkages.. dinagyang is only street dancing to pop musics and parang warshock dancers covered by aspalt and grease nakipag away ng judge pag natalo. ay nakakahiya. dats only my opinion...
