Great video, great music, great old town!! Benton Harbor is a beautiful town, almost forgotten about, but once called the "Metropolis of the Midwest", and after WWII started to deterioriate, and has suffered from blight and race riots, segregation, and the loss of industry and farming. But now on the mend, it will soon be a national attraction once again, and is situated right on the shores of Lake Michigan, and is the home of the famous "House of David".

Why is a group from Brooklyn writing a song about Benton Harbor, Michigan? That town is so ghetto - driving through it is like going through a third world country.

First of all, they're from Chicago, pretty close to Benton Harbor. Secondly, if you watch the video, it clearly illustrates how mundane the town is. As the previous commentor stated, it it called the "blues". And finally, they record their albums in Benton Harbor.

Gorgeous song. The Fierys write such great melodies. And while I love the challenges and rewards of listening their more difficult material, it's fun to see them cut loose once in a while on a perfect piece of pop. I think this is how Abba would have liked The Winner Takes It All to sound! BTW, anyone who doesn't have Fierys' We Got Back The Plague should download it now... it's the most beautiful, the most scary, the most important and the most overlooked blues song ever written. So there.

i actually live in benton harbor, michigan. it's not all a horrible ghetto, but it is a sad (once bustling) area... pretty much any business that comes in outside of fast food fails and gets closed permanently, so it's almost like a ghost-town downtown a lot of the time... however, there's an emerging "arts district" that's bringing more and more people together, but it's still not much at all...
