Thanks for posting this gem, one of my favorite Genesis pieces, with stunning guitar work - love Cinema Show as well
Genesis made this a drum and lead track, not a free-for-all or a bass highlight.
Sturmer puts too many extras in when he covers it and the bassist here is doing the same. Neither version has the haunting howl of the original and the original is uncluttered with surplus bass!

Sturmer ruined it. This bassist is showing off on a Genesis classic that made its name without a bass line trying to cram in as much as possible.
This is a cover and SH obviously approves, but he's lost the Gibson howl of Seconds Out and Wetton should play less. He may hit less bum notes that way!
