We're here in Weston-Super-Mare this week, its a great shame about the pier. So much history gone in a puff of smoke.
The cab driver who took us from the station to the hotel, suggested that it could be an 'inside job' by the recently new owner. Especially as he also owns an insurance company!!
Interesting huh!!? I am not suggesting that this is true, but there is certainly no smoke without FIRE!!!

Kerry owns a fair bit around weston it would have been a tad silly to be an inside job as it dropped tourism quite a bit, however if i'm correct in thinking it was the fact he didn't replace the wiring for the attractions being put up in that sector, then his insurance won't cover it...hehehe OWNED!
