Though I do agree that amphetamines, related stimulants, SSRI's, and other mood stabilizers are rampantly over-prescribed, they do have the capacity for safe, therapeutic use in a pediatric environment. This movie, however, is being endorsed by well-known Scientologists, and may be just another propaganda piece to use to defame the science of psychiatry. I'll have to see the film in its entirety to make a final decision,

This film is 100% lethal. It's a fact. Everybody who watches this is going to die, therefore it must be fact that this film led to everyone's death. See how easy it is to make crap up. No one is denying that antidepressants are for everybody. But some kids do need them. Quit being a sensationalist douche.

Just agree to disagree, Mud. Quit attacking! According to the NY Times from Oct 2004: Children and teenagers who take antidepressants are twice as likely as those given placebos to become suicidal, according to studies presented to the committee, adding that If 100 patients are given the drugs, 2 or 3 more will become suicidal than would have had they been given placebos. Not everything is so black & white, no matter WHAT you think.

And im not disagreeing with you when i say that your logic isnt very good.
Take this into consideration. When you flip a coin 100 times does that mean that its going to be heads 50 times and tails 50 times? No. Not at all. It could be heads 100 times and tails 0 times, or heads 56 times and tails 44 times, etc.
What im trying to say is you cant calculate the deaths due to AD's like that.

What the fuck did people do about their children 500 years ago? Kids are kids. They are going to be hyper!! They are going to run around crazy like!! When a child is given what is essentially amphetamine, a chemical cousin of methamphetamine, it can be lethal and have consequences! These drugs should be given to adults, not children. Allow the child's brain to fully develop before you start adding other chemicals that can potentially cause harm. Science isn't always correct! Use reason and logic

I've used both xanax and adderoll )anxiety and add drugs. I found that xanax made me totally insensitive to other people. It was scary how my interactions with other people changed for the worse. As for adderoll, don't fool yourself it is basically the same as methamphetamine which I think says more about the overinflated hype about meth than about the dangers of adderoll. The only antidepressant they should give to children is marijuana, yet that is illegal.

Sorry, but as I said the Journal of American Medicine did a review of studies on the subject and found that children on antidepressants are NOT more likely to be suicidal. Journal of American Medicine last year or NYT four years ago, mmmm who to believe?

Too bad you believe everything you read on the internet. Millions of kids use these drugs every year, tens of thousands would be dying every year if this were the case. I have been in pharmacy for 7+ years and have never heard of a kid dying from one of these.

The only reason I don't like this is because it's too biased to give a clear overview of everything. While the message might be clear, they never give the other side's view on the subject, which is quite reasonable. Anyone that disagrees needs to do some reading up on business ethics and the kinds of decisions they're faced with everyday. Only then you will understand.

Please go to Yahoo and type in "Horrible Truth About Psychiatric Drugs" to see a research paper exposing these drugs. Also so the search "Documented Proof Psychiatric Drugs Shorten Lifespan". Be sure to include the quotes. You will learn information no psychiatrist will tell you. These drugs destroy fertility and libido and cause impotence and extream disphoria and obesity. The promote suicide and violence not prevent it.
