The guitarist, Alan Murphy did indeed die in 1989, not sure when in the year, but it does look like it was shortly after this concert. An amazing guitarist, who worked with a lot of bands in the 80s including Kate Bush and Go West. It's a shame, and I think the other members of the band were heartbroken.

Most definitely...I heard the sad news from the one and only Jimmy Johnson at a Holdsworth gig at the Baked Potato that one of my favorite guitarist died! Yet listening to "Gresham Blues" always makes my day better! His legacy will always endure!
