No they don't, they're in totally different genres, and they're both really good at what they do. COF's cover of this was ok, but the percussive singing doesn't suit the lyrics. The original version is much better, as is almost always the case when it comes to covers.

You are kidding - COF suck at this song - the singing style doesn't fit the lyrics and the guitar work is frankly incomparable. Hallowed be thy name is about some dude who's condemned to death. The wierd percussive voice just doesn't work.
