Well, you can't really blame anyone for not knowing about Turkish history. You see, in schools around the world, people study the great civilisations, such as Ancient Rome and Greece. If Turks had left a legacy of something other than oppression and violence, maybe students everywhere would study your history, too. Instead, they prefer to learn about the people who gave the world the foundations for science, mathematics, philosophy, literature and the study of history itself.

First of all, excuse me if you got offended but the post was about a comment which was saying, they(the Greece people) will capture Istanbul. And the wars we had with them are also their history.
About the teachings that you mentioned, it is a part of the asocial strategy which countries have all around the world. I have studied history in Turkey, Europe and Canada while I was a middle and high school student and believe me we had a lot more to learn in our history classes in Turkey.
