Well, maybe. They do a very different version of the song. Not sure if it's "better".
But it all boils down to how you feel about covers. Very few covers really add to the original; those that are parodies are usually more worthwhile than vain attempts to improve on the original.
The worst thing that can be said of any given band - which I've heard a few times - is that their best song is a cover. Thats a pretty damning statement on the band's ability to write music.
