It's a shame David Hayter, the writer of the Watchmen screenplay, wasn't there :(
There is also apparently a lot of people who don't know who the Watchmen are (which is understandable). The Watchmen is considered, by some, to be the best graphic novel of all time. Check out a little about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchmen

So now I hear Ozzy attacks a bunch of places & not just New York...
This is crappy news as a fan of the book. But hopefully the true message of Watchmen will still be perceived by the public...
the ending seems to have changed to a machine that mimics Dr Manhattans powers, so the world reunites in an attempt to protect itself from the doc who leaves earth...however the ending in the GN showed a new threat the world didnt know about that reunites the world ...if the Russians though Manhattan had rebelled against the US surely they would attack? just my thoughts but hey we'll find out when its released I hope its a good film although I have my reservations
