I could not agree with you more, phizzstar. I am by no means a musical expert, but it seems to me in human history there have been two astonishing and almost inexplicable explosions of musical genius confined within a relatively narrow time and place.
One in eighteenth and early nineteenth century German-speaking Europe, and the other in twentieth century USA.
And hell yes, smooth jazz is a half-notch above elevator music.

To me that's a little unnerving, since he died when he was just a couple years older than I am.
Mozart was sickly for most of his life, and I would bet did not look particularly juvenescent upon his death either.

sorry i had no intention to offend anyone. I was just trying to make a point about his drug abuse...and how it deprived him of his own juvenescence. He only was about what, 35? when he died. Which is still particularly young
