Well for one...maneuvering the starship is too simple. Equipping so many weapons and missiles the size of the starship itself is laughable. Plus that pencil cannon on the underbelly...with that thing it would be hard to maneuver the starship. From what I've seen of the characters...it seems like something out of Gundam SEED. GameArts should've made this game independently. Plus this game was an attempt to attract more japanese players to the 360 since it's doing so poorly in Japan.

This is an arcade SPACE shooter, yet you complain about the weapons being unrealistic? If supposed to be over the top and intense. If you want a more sim -like experience, then you should be playing Ace Combat instead of Project Sylpheed.

Excellent video. I love how use integrated the music from project Silpheed with the video and gameplay from the Sega CD Sylpheed. I've always loved the music from these games. Great job.

So we are in 2007 and i have never seen again explosions/disintegrations so impressive as the ones i saw in silpheed back in 1993... yeah there are a lot done million years light away better... those are just flat polygons scattering... but hell... never IMPRESSED me so much as silpheed...

Dunno where that music's from, it's not from Silpheed. However, Silpheed's actual soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard in a game. :)

Megacd silpheed's music is even better, at least of what i have heard of x360 Sylph. And it was pcm music, i mean that is a very good work for a somewhat limited format. :)
