im with you man, im a pats fan but i like oakland. russel only threw for 55 yards on 17 pass atemps in week 2. matt cassel, who started his first game in like 9 years is doing better then that. i didnt like him at lsu and i really dont like him in the nfl, if the raiders were smart they would have kept Cullpepper and told Russel to hit the road, a rookie should never hold out for a big contract, NEVER!!

Bishop - Cassel hadn't started a game since high school (backup to Carson Palmer and Matt Leinert at USC). He graduated in 2000, meaning that his last football game in high school was in the fall of 1999. The current year is 2008. 2008-1999 is right around 9, I think.
