Video Description:
This is a video I made, with a collection of some of my favorite photos and video of a ribbon dance. It's my first video, ever, so if you wish to be mean, feel free. I very much like how it came out though. It is my "interpretation" of No Quarter, by Tool (at least as far as my video editing skills would allow :)

Note: The photos used in the video are from DeviantArt, the lightning photos I found by Google Image Search, and there is one of myself that I felt appropriate for the feel of the song.
The ribbon dance is a video I had found somewhere, and I've not the slightest idea who it is or where it comes from.
Additionally, I was forced to cut the song short due to Youtube's -10 minutes requirement.
Tragic,... I know.

but u also have to remember.. robert wasnt just another rock singer .. he was THE rock singer.. every rock band thats has been and will be owes much to led zeppelin.. u have to remember that they invinted that style and genre.. for back then .. it was different than anything around...i mean.. they arent my favorite... but if it werent for them.. my favorite bands would be gone.. cuz they all loved Led Zeppelin,,,, i do believe thats why maynard covered this song :P

i'm pretty sure they've written quite a few of their own.. led zeppelin may have written the song, but that doesn't necessarily mean another band can't cover it in a way that fits their own interpretation of the song..

I rated your video a "5" star because I love this song, the original and the cover, both absolutely amazing. You're video is interesting, especially it being your first time making one. The ribbon dancers in the beginning are really trippy, I like that, and it also suits the song. Thank You.

for the record, led zeppelin didn't write all the songs they did. so you retards saying "omg tool stole this" no no no, they didn't. it's called a cover for a reason, despite the fact that tools singer changed the lyrics around a bit and the song is over 3 minutes longer than zepps version, it's still a cover.

I love Led Zepplin, but this cover blows the original out of the water. Tool is one of those bands who could cover most anyone and do a better job. They bring a level of creativity to the table that no other band could match. That combined with Daney Carey who is probably the best living drummer, makes genius. To anyone who disagrees, I ask that you listen to Lateralus all the way through at max volume. Then come tell me what you think about Tool.
