The first shot is fired (first hint of smoke exiting the gun) at 8.79 of the clip. The last balloon breaks at 9.65 of the clip, which makes the whole sequence of shooting the 5 balloons as under a second. Send me a message if you want me to e-mail you the original footage to check it.

You tend to twist your elbow a little to absorb the recoil. That's more of a revolver technique.

Is it true you were shooting talcum powder? I was told that was why it was so smoky. How do you separate the talcum powder from the gun powder? Thanks.

Not talcum powder. The blanks are full or 1F blackpowder. Half burns up when fired, and the rest flys out the barrel to break the balloon. Blackpowder is much smokier that regular gunpowder. It's what was in use in the Old West.

Yes, that's correct. Blanks are just the powder held in place with a paper wad on top. In this instance it's 1F blackpowder, which is a grainy powder that can fly about 12' before falling to the ground. Half burns up, the rest hits the balloon.

just wondering so im assuming with spinning the gun, the bigger it is the harder to spin?
i was thinking of getting an airsoft one just to learn how to spin em and im debating between a 6 inch one and an 8 inch one...

I'm not sure what the 6 or 8 inch might refer to. Most spinners use a single-action revolver with a 4 3/4" barrel. That length is pretty well balanced for spinning.
As for weight, I use Ruger Vaqueros, which are about the heaviest single-actions around, and the extra weight keeps the guns from flying off when I don't grab the gun correctly when doing an aerial trick. It stays put a bit better, and gives me a second chance to grab it.
