What does "winning" or "victory" mean? More dead innocent people? Cheaper oil for the world? More money for the oil companies? A stable democracy in Iraq or a corrupt government that does what the USA says or a peaceful but Iranian supported theocracy? No matter what the outcome, there is no victory or winning in Iraq.

The right answer is Iraq steps up and becomes a free nation. The next step would be Iraq becomes secure and the people spread their form of democracy so that dictatorships that support genocide or terror is weened out on their terms. People can laugh all they want. But the AP has benn the MOST critcal voice against US and Israeli policy. We are winning (I actually think we have won). Of course, the American army has won the war. The definition of victory is just a very loose one. American soldiers aren't dying because Iraqis and Mercernaries are at the forefront of the violence and combat. America has however achieved it's major political aims of this war. That is to polarise the region, install a government and secure its oil reserves.
