congrats on making hack-a-day, cool product, we used to use setups like this in first, way easier thna reinventing the wheel, how much tourque can you get from the shown setup before it fails, or is there a decent buffer where the rider can go up hills and dog the bike, without melting a 2-300$ drill motor and battery, nice idea tho, ill be looking at getting one of these for testing in our first team and maybe more.

When you came out with this, you were using an 18 volt drill. Now that Dewalt has 36v batteries, why don't you say what the speed and range is? This actually COULD be adapted to a full size electric bike. The advantage over other e-bikes would be the fact that the Dewalt 36v battery is good for over 2000 recharges and is extremely lightweight and doesn't have memory problems. Why wasted this invention on silly little warehouse bikes and "pit" bikes?

this product a has so much more potential!
also it could have diferent mountings avalible, for small go-karts, mini quads, small boats and much more.
also like you said this could be used for much bigger e-bikes with a more powerfull drill, great thoughts and comment mate. I hope the developers see these comments and improove through sugestions!
