The Real Story of Texas Football Madness movie trailer.
The release of "Friday Night Lights" has turned the nation's attention to the incredible drama and emotion of high school football as played in the Lone Star State. But more and more of this attention is being directed away from the Hollywood film to the unscripted, unrehearsed, "un-Hollywood" version: "Power, Passion & Glory: The Real Story of Texas Football Madness."
Narrated by veteran sportscaster Pat Summerall, the documentary is the product of filmmaker Ken Heckmann's quest to capture the grit, hysteria and heart-stopping tension of the real thing. Appropriately, he selected as his subject the Celina Bobcats, who became the winningest team in Texas history during their dramatic 2002 season.

Celina is a good team no doubt. our team played theirs in the state championship. they play good solid football. we lost 21-14 this year. but we should have won. we were honestly the better team but played crappy(no offense to Celina which is still without doubt a dynasty).3 of our players were injured in that game also. but in the end all that matters is who came out on top so congratulations to Celina for winnning its 8th state title in the past 13 years.

i'm a proud cougar, never miss a game. i absolutely love texas football, it's what i breathe and live for on friday nights. but i gotta admit it, watching china spring lose (my school) in the state championship, was totally a downer. good job celina, but we were right there w. yall the whole time, bring it next year, we'll be ready to beat yall :)

Celina has a awesome tradition grew up in princeton and we were freakin 3a and good in the mid 90s but were kinda sandwiched with gainesville frisco and lakedallas and bonham when they were all good, we always slipped to one two many in a very tough district back then, and even we wanted none of celina, their power goes back to even before i could play ball back in the early 80s in a tough district with Farmersville,Caddo Mills, and Van Alstyne back n the day, they were all tough teams.

ah good old celina 8 state titles i give credit for 1 aginst mart the rest ethier they just barly made the playoffs or i never even heard of them some celina fans got mad at me and wanted me to name some teams they said they will match up with them so i said ok lets start easy Stephenville next Highland Park now it gets harder Trinity and last but not least Southlake Carroll they told me that them 4 would kill us well at least you played somebody oh i forgot Dangerfield i remember them boys
