The Comp-Nova is a subtle compressor that does away with the squashed note while allowing your guitar to sustain and sing for days. Even at the maximum compression settings the Comp-Nova is crisp and tight, with a poppy tone that is perfect for country chicken-pickin and fingerstyle players. At the slower Attack speeds the notes have a very slight "pump" to them where the volume increases at the tail end of your notes. This is perfect for blazing fast, overdriven leads to keep the tone smooth.
