Its 2009 GT-R hits 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, quicker than the last Dodge Viper, Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 Turbo we tested. Keep your foot pinned, and after another tap on the upshift paddle it will clear the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds at more than 120 mph.

if it has to do with a guy that heard weird noises from the back of his car and turned around and got it hauled over to a nissan dealer and got it inspected by some techs without even touching the car and japanese dudes said he launched it and that voided the warranty, you do know that's just a internet spread rumor right?? nissan is well aware of the rumor though. dude, paddle shift = instand shift through gears, push 3 times and in less than half a second it will shift up 3 times, no hand + foot with clutch and stick can do that!

Keep telling yourself that. The Dodge SRT10 ACR goes 0-150 mph TEN seconds faster than the GT-Rice. And the ACR isn't even meant to be fast in a straight line, so it embarasses the GT-R around a track. Also Edmunds is running a blog on their long-term GT-R. So far they've had to replace an entire transaxle and transmission. They've also had as many as two CEL's a week. So much for "Japanese reliability". Read for yourself.

your guys are so worried about the gtr's 0 to 60, but who races 0 to 60? of course the gtr 0 to 60 is ALMOST unmatch but in the long run, it takes the gtr longer to hit 110mph, then the following cars: viper, z06, 911, lambos G, Lotus exige-240, and a few more i cant remember. My source was from "Import tuner" magazine, they had a section on it. So although the gtr is fast 0 to 60, but no one races to 60. so it good with launch, but remember, the CPU does all the work, not YOU with semi-manuel

yeah, but the nissan GTR has always used technology, the tech was always what made the GTR's go around the track the fastest, even to this day the nearly 20 year old r32 gtr still beats alot of new cars in terms of performance, its a testament to driving technology when a car is still as menacing and quick as it was when it first rocked the world
