God loves all to the point that he was willing to give his son to die and pay the price or cost of sin.
But only to those who believe in his name does he gvie the right to become sons of God. (John 1:12)
Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, Sacrifice and offering thou hast not desired, but a body thou hast prepared for me. [Hebrews 10:5-6]
The quote is from Psalms 40:6. So lets just check how it is in the Hebrew text of the same verse:
Sacrifice and offering Thou hast not desired; mine ears Thou hast opened. [Psalms 40:6]
Notice the difference?
Ephesians 1 v 20
From the beginning of the law God established the REQUIREMENT of sacrifice for sin. It is plainly stated. It is clear and every Jew and Christian understands this.
Additionally, God also clearly states that he would RATHER NOT have to have sacrifice but instead obedience. However, man's sins REQUIRE IT.
Jesus was sent (Created / born) with the SPECIFIC TASK of dying for the sins of mankind. The death
This is PLAINLY evidenced in NUMEROUS passages but is clearly seen in such prophetic passages as Isaiah 53 who speaking of the Messiah stated:
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
So we see CLEARLY that OUR SINS were placed upon him.
8 By oppression and
Here we see that he is "Cut off from the land of the living" (killed)
There are MANY MANY other passages that document the FACT that the Messiah's specific task was to come and DIE for teh sins of man.
And we don't have to go back to the prophets. We can take it straight from the quarterbacks mouth himself.
Jesus states in
He states in John 10:17-18, "17The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."
And in Matthew 26:28 he tells us WHY he is to die, "28This is my blood
So you can't get much clearer than that.
Now, you ask how Jesus can be seated at the right hand of himself.
Let me ask you in return, how can God be seated AT ALL since God is spirit and does not possess physical form.
The passage you reference is an "Anthropomorphism" (A human term to help us understand that which is not in human context of understanding.)
God is triune. Father is head. Son and Holy Spirit
Just the same in Genesis 2:24 God states that husband and wife are ONE (Echad).
They form ONE marriage. The husband is FULLY married. The wife is FULLY married. Yet they are ONE according to God. While they are completely EQUAL before God, God has appointed the husband as the HEAD of the family.
It is just the same within the trinity. All are fully equal yet the Son submits to the Father.
The "Right hand" is symbolic
Salaam,
Joe
To this day I never cease to be amazed how people can, upon their first introduction to someone, call them an idiot or some such slanderous (Liable in this case) remark.
I have neither demonstrated lack of intelligence nor supplied conjectural argumentation as you have.
When you are prepared to engage in civil conversation as an adult, feel free to look me up. But before you do, actually refute the QUOTES FROM JESUS'
Until such time, I see little point in attempting anything of the semblance of intelligent conversation with someone who has as of yet not demonstrated the capacity for it.

Too busy to spend a lot of time here. But will say something... rather repeat something and add new stuff.
I said it before:
JOHN 17-4
I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.
This is the only place in the entire Bible where jesus claims he has done his work. He claimed such a thing BEFORE the so called crucifiction.
The facts can not change on this. The statement is absolute and universal. Hence his job was not to die for our sins.
BLOOD OF THE COVENANT. That is different. It is figurative.

33"Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey. 34When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit 35"The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
38"But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.' 39So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him
who do you think the parable is about? the sone here is jesus who the jews will kill (only they will not succeed)
Jesus was accused that he claimed to be God... in JOHN 10-30.
What reply did jesus give to this accusation?
SEE HIS REPLY IN THE SAME CHAPTER AND MATTER IS FINISHED ONCE AND FOR ALL. It would be a knock out punch bybjesus himself.
