Alzheimer's cases have skyrocketed. It is very similar to Mad Cow disease and there is some evidence that many cases diagnosed as Alzheimer's are really Mad Cow. Maybe all Alzheimer's is mad cow. But the government doesn't want to know about that. The official cause of Alzheimer's is "unknown". Research into the possibility that it could be a result of tainted food is stymied.
It's all about the money. Governments care more about big business than they do their people.

It is important that people reduce their meat intake substantially and stop eating at super-processors like McD's and Burger King. Reduce the amount we eat of them before we worry so strenuously about how they are treated.

i agree, but it's not just government. It's over-consumption as well. Consider the government's situation of 300 million people screaming for beef and pork. Prices go up when production goes down if demand is still up (just like gas prices). I don't like how things are turning up, but sometime governments are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Until the majority of people decide to buy local organic foods, we will forever be subject to tainted food. Mass production causes lack of quality.

You know scientists say that our brains could not have grown without our consumption of red meat. Besides, vegetarians have chosen their life-style freely and they shouldn't enforce their ways-of-life onto other folks.

... The only flaw to this is that when they were complaining about cattle at Slaughterhouses standing in their own fecal matter, they were filming and viewing cattle from a pretty decent Slaughterhouse - I've seen far worse than what they showed.

lol s. korean drama. the koreans would never appreciate US beef. the way they see it is that everything produced by the koreans is better than the rest of the world. their domestic fruit is sweeter than imported, their grass is greener, their roads are more comfortable to walk on, even the pollution created by their factories are healthy for the plants(sarcasm).....bottom line, they sees themselves as the best in the world in every category
