North by Northwest
Dial M for Murder
I also like Suspicion and Vertigo but not as much as the ones above ^
His technicolor films in the 50's are good but his best work was in black and white. Rebecca, Shadow of a Doubt, Notorious, Strangers on a Train. They're much better.
I actually disliked Strangers on a Train. I don't know why, I just didn't find it that great. And Notorious I have a large issue with the way the female lead was played. Not the actress, but how she came across. As for the others, I still haven't gotten to watching them.
and Hitchcock. But not both at the same time. That would be a bit weird.
My favourite cheeses are:
Mozzarella,
wensleydale,
mascapone
and
Psycho cheese.
Family cheddar plot was rubbish.
But Strangers on a brie had an insightful twang.
-The Birds
- North by Northwest
-The 39 steps
-Dial M for Murder
-Strangers on a Train
-Vertigo
In that exact order.
1. PSYCHO
2. THE BIRDS
3. VERTIGO
4. FRENZEY
But I don't think that I've ever seen a Hitchcock film that I DIDN'T like at all.
It's sad that only one of his movies won Best Picture, Rebecca. They should ALL win Best Picture! (lol, ok, i'm exagerating but anyway..)
What a genius.
Love it!
