Nothing moving? At 0:26 the ascent engine ignites and from then until 0:28 the frame is FILLED with a blaze of flying debris, Kapton insulation blasted all over the place. THAT'S what you think is wires. You think none of this stuff is moving?

Did you look at the video clip? For a craft that operates in a vacuum, aerodynamics can be entirely ignored. It doesn't have to 'look' like a Buck Rogers Rocket Ship. Watch the craft in the video do exactly what the ascent module does.
