It's standard practise mixed with social pressure - on women. 2 or 3 out of 5 married men are 'Brokeback Mountain' type gays. Bummers in hetero clothing.
Most fashion designers are gay men on drugs. So they make girls look like the kind of boys they can pull. ie. they PAY heroine addicted runaway, skinny gay teenage boys who are desperate for a fix so they'll let anyone bum them for £.
Too many bummer men abusing power without enough humanity.
Cuddling is nice.

Whether he liked it or not, John Lydon became a true rock star with PIL. More a band "proper" than the media circus of the Sex Pistols, they're one of the truly great post-punk bands.
Check out Keith Levene's guitar sound - obviously a young Dave Evans (The Edge) was paying attention here, when he incorporated it into the more mainstream sound of U2. Great stuff, and you can tell they really mean it, maaaan!

I bought the album at the time, and thought to myself this sounds real good. The other songs on the album were a bit of let down. It kinda hit certain sensitive points with me, the violence and love of the seventies.
