Amos Milburn, a forgotten giant
Uploaded by: durgafilms
Video Description:
Though now forgotten, Amos Milburn was one of the "fathers" of Rock 'n Roll.
He was R &B's primary link to Boogie Woogie. Milburn was the acknowledged "guru" of Fats Domino.
"Bad, Bad Whiskey" killed him on January 3, 1980. This is an homage ad gloria suam.

I can remember playing some of his recordings at parties that my sisters and I threw for our parents and their friends and then the "old folks" would get up dance then.
