Really? What studies are those? It is very very difficult NOT to get enough protein in this country. That is why RICKETS is only seen in the extremely malnourished (meat eaters or not), *not* in Vegans. In fact, excess protein consumption is a HUGE problem in the US, Sweeden, and the UK. It causes calcium to be depleted from the bones = osteoporosis. It also causes strain on the kidneys and the digestive system. Get educated.

I just can't believe people are that closed minded about anything. I'm a meat eater and what I'm about to say (not to you PETA) will contridict myself alot. I support animal rights I'm all for their rights, but I eat them. And by the way the guy that said show me proof of animals being tortured, go to a freaking slaughterhouse and tell me that isn't cruel or disgusting. I'm a meat eater but I'm trying to cut myself out of all of that. It's hard, I can do it though.
