i'm finally able to listen to an accent without realizing it's an accent (russian, romanian, british, whatever) and what i love most about the british isn't so much the way the words sound (although i do like it), it's the way they use the language. watch interviews with little kids, and they use words PROPERLY - they sound much smarter than the average american! (and i'm an extremely patriotic american myself - but loving the country doesn't mean being blind to its flaws!)
