they have grown up. they are no longer teenagers or in ther twenties. you like the agresive stuff because you are most likely young or atleast in your teens or twenties. when you grow up youl think "good thing they dont play the agresive stuff any more" you can disagree with me now and say IL ALWAYS LIKE THE AGRESIVE STLYE OF MUSIC but i can garentue you will grow out of it.

Well honestly, whether you grow out of it is YOUR decision. I have a friend thats in his 30's and his favorite band is SLIPKNOT! I know a shitload of people that are out of 20's and listen to Cannibal Corpse! But hey, whatever. I'm not one to tell people's fate. So be what you will. I love songs from new album like: GEMATRIA-my favourite, SULFUR, PSYCHOSOCIAL, BUTCHER'S HOOK, GEHENNA, THIS COLD BLACK AND ALL HOPE IS GONE..but i don't really appreciate (though i know they put a lot of effort in thm) DEAD MEMMORIES(this is so not slipknot) ,WHEREIN LIES CONTINUE..-they're too much stonesourish- i don't mind soft stuff like snuff...but it can't be mixed with heavy stuff!!!!

no.you got me wrong..shure these songs are slipknot-they started with thm in vol.3, and i don't mind thm.but on the new album they made stuff like dead memories, child of burnin time,till we die,that has distortion gtar sound and soft melodic vocals-this is more like stone sour.they've never done this bfore..and don't get me wrong-these songs are good, but not really like slipknot in anyway..they just wana expand the fan base and become as succesfull as possible-on 1,2.albm thy didn' give a shit
