I haven't this song in a long time and I enjoyed it so much. Then I checked out the comments. A few are about the song or the Kinks. But so many are just way off-topic, to put it mildly. One of the many joys of a religiously egalitarian society I'm afraid. Racism, sexism, discrimination and prejudice in all forms (both real and perceived) are the target of this era's inquisition and, much like all previous inquisitions the majority of the accused are in fact totally innocent.
