No m8, this is on PC. And believe me, those times are really possible.
These guys are 2 of the best NFS Carbon players in the world. They just know how to take every corner with the highest possible speed because they have a perfect control over their car. And of course they also have the perfect setup for each track.
I know how you are feeling. We think that we are good players because we beat most of the people online but there are still players who are a lot faster than us.

Oh, I know I'm not nearly the best out there, I play people everyday that kick my @SS!
Thats 2 tracks now that really stump me, this and Dover, people are getting incredible times on them without NOS, anybody can get great at a track, with a little practice, but yes, they have some amazing tuning for the tracks... I wish I knew what it was!!

In NFS Carbon most players (like Speed) used a gamepad and some players (like Steffan) used a steering wheel. With a keyboard you don't have enough control over your turns.

The best cars in NFS Carbon are the Corvette and the Audi which is why you will see a lot of them when you play online but they weren't allowed by the WCG rules and on most tracks the next best car is the Evo.

oh really? .. well i've played this game on PS2 with friends, never online =[ .. and yea, i love the Corvette.. but still, those timings in this video are SICK!! lol im still off by like 4-5 seconds every lap with my 'Vette.. guess that makes me a noob at this game when i thought i was really good lol

Don't worry, it's not a shame to be 5 seconds slower than the best players in the world on such a hard track. There are many people who are a lot worse, so you aren't a noob at this game.
And the Corvette is also a car that is very hard to control.

well, i guess you're right.. but still, you say the 'Vette as well as the Audi are the best cars in the game.. and that the EVO is the NEXT best car after these two lol.. oo well, i guess i'll take a bit of a credit here, im not that noobish hehe..
Just wondering, now.. do you have any settings for a 'Vette i could use..? because i don't think mine's are wrong, but i'm sure they could be a bit better; maybe i'm missing something..

:) respect to playArtSpeedNG, he always told me in NFSU2 that he was going to win WCG... and finally he did in Carbon lol Brazil is the best he said. Well I guess that's true, for now... and mad respect to Steffan, it could have gone either way but as the subtitel said "one mistake, and game over" and thats really hard when you make a mistake you know that you've pretty much lost. Best in the world, what more can one say. 5*
