All white tigers are in captivity. They can't be in the wild. They would die when they are really young because they dont have the right camo. White tigers are actually a genetic mistake that comes from inbreeding.
Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE tigers, they have always been the most amazing animals to me. I'm actually going to college to become a zoologist so I can work with them in captivity to make their lives better.

white tigers are freaks of nature, unfortunately. ALL white tigers are inbred and the majority of them have one common ancestor. Personally, I like the orange coloration better because it's their natural color. I wouldn't mind seeing a tiger with melanistic coloration (a "black" tiger), though I think the melanistic coloration is relegated only to jaguars and leopards.

It's sad that they're white. Did you know that white tigers are unatural and only exist in captivity? For every one healthy white tiger, 10 or more have been killed. All white tigers are inbred and crosseyed. Many are mentally challenged and deformed. Please do not visit zoos that breed white tigers, like Busch Gardens or Lowry Park. Animal Kingdom does not breed white tigers and neither does Big Cat Rescue.
