Do you have the "Like Minds" album? It's still Roy Haynes and Metheny, but with the addition of Gary Burton. It's amazing, and was the version I heard before the original Question and Answer recording. It doesn't get any better than Roy Haynes, and put him together with Metheny and it's really something. I saw this trio (Metheny/McBride/Sanchez) last fall, and that was unbelievable too. What a great piece of music.

Great playing. Pat sounds like he's been checking out some Frisell lately. McBride is the man, that cat is mega Heavy.
I saw these guys in March and they were just unreal. Day Trip is the best thing he's done since Q&A imo. Nice to hear such an intense version.

Co prawda to prawda... jest wielu wielkich ludzi, którzy wyróżniają się w tłumie gitarzystów... Wes Montgomery,Eddie Van Halen,Joe Satriani... i moge tak w nbieskończonośc od jazzowych po najbardziej progresywnych gitarzystów... ale fakt faktem Pat potrafi tak cudownie bawić się dźwiękami że aż ciarki przechodzą :):):)
