I see where he pled guilty to an open container, not punching a cop. I think it's just something you WANT to be true.
I like how you're ... ( 4 months ago by yoxxitxxjohndoexx)
I like how you're resorting to the typical, childish insults and accusations that ole miss is so well known for.....:)
Touched a nerve, huh Iceman?
You were calling ... ( 4 months ago by rrlynch)
You were calling Jerrell Powe a "retard" earlier, and now you want to get on some sort of "I don't insult people" high horse. Real smooth, kiddo.
Graduate high school, then we'll talk.
Well, I wasn't ... ( 4 months ago by yoxxitxxjohndoexx)
Well, I wasn't accusing him of being a retard, everybody knows that he IS one. He fits in well at ole miss, don't you think?
The academic ... ( 4 months ago by rrlynch)
The academic reputation of Ole Miss > the academic reputation of State.
If you were a Vandy or Georgia fan you'd have me beat, but guess what, you're a State fan.
Also, my guess is that you probably aren't even an alum of State, let alone a student there. You're probably poor and shitty.
LOL! "academic ... ( 4 months ago by yoxxitxxjohndoexx)
LOL! "academic reputation of Ole Miss > the academic reputation of State." Yet another fine example of a delusion fabricated by the ole miss "elite". you guys need to lay off the coke up there. memphis is slowly creeping up on oxford....it's a shithole in the making
Show me a single ... ( 4 months ago by rrlynch)
Show me a single publication (USA Today, Readers Digest, Princeton Review, etc) or a single member of academia outside of Starkville who thinks State is a better university.
I'll fucking give you $5 bucks if you do. No joke.

well, you show me a single publication that proves ole miss is academically superior to msu....

I see where each ... ( 4 months ago by yoxxitxxjohndoexx)
I see where each school excels individually in certain departments, but nothing that gives merit to either school being better than the other. Again, ole miss is going down the shitter, and that direct artery from memphis ain't helping any. You guys have become notorious within the last several years for putting people six feet under, and it won't get any better. Up until a few months ago, I actually lived in oxford for 2 years while working at BMH. The student body is quite a pathetic site.

We're both pretty pathetic anyway, to sit here and argue this long over the computer, and bore ppl with our obnoxious comments.

Wish i could find the actual intro by fox sports... I loved how they did it. As UM was running in they said after 40 years ole miss is back.. or something to that extent

UM was established ... ( 3 months ago by justarandomguy80)
UM was established by a few "elite" of Mississippi to study "higher education" subjects like humanities. MSU was established out of dire need from failing crops, which resulted in a failing economy and some famine. Naturally, UM is going to have a greater academic reputation.
The research and development being done at that "podunk" college, MSU, contributes far more to the well-being of society than what is being done at Ole Miss.
Every facet of your ... ( 3 months ago by justarandomguy80)
Every facet of your life that makes it possible is fabricated by an agricultural, mechanical, or biologically engineered backbone. Without agriculture, there would be no culture. That is irrefutable, yee ol' arrogant one from Madison County.
Now, your turn for an obnoxious reply. Proceed!
While the ... ( 3 months ago by rrlynch)
While the development of sustainable agriculture does a lot for the well-being of a society, how can you discredit the medical and pharmacological research and training that Ole Miss oversees as being socially beneficial?
I'm taking off my red and blue goggles for this one: both schools do a lot for the state of Mississippi. I'm not hesitant in admitting that.
First of all, do ... ( 3 months ago by rrlynch)
First of all, do you know me?
I'm seriously from Madison County. Oh, and if you didn't already know, Madison is a STATE town, not an Ole Miss town. More kids from my graduating class ended up at State than Ole Miss, for the record.
How has this debate evolved into "the societal necessity of agriculture?" I'm an Ole Miss fan, therefore I don't like the Mississippi State bulldogs. Is that an incredibly difficult concept to grasp?
Seriously, I just ... ( 3 months ago by rrlynch)
Seriously, I just went through the comments and NOTHING I said trashed farmers, ariculture, etc.
This is such typical State fan nonsense. Instead of attempting to refute something which I actually said, you resort to dragging red herrings through the argument hoping to change the subject altogether.
Real smooth, buddy.
Yes, I know you're ... ( 3 months ago by justarandomguy80)
Yes, I know you're from Madison.
How did this evolve? Well, I saw you bloating about how Ole Miss' academic rep is greater than MSU. I'll admit that. But again I will say, everything has ties to either agricultural or mechanical backgrounds.
I'll take off MY maroon and white goggles for this one and admit that UM does alot of substantial research for medicine. But many medicines are industrially produced by agricultural products.
We are both right. I just felt the need to speak.
To clarify, I'll ... ( 3 months ago by justarandomguy80)
To clarify, I'll admit that Ole Miss does have a greater academic reputation than State, but that does not mean it's any better.

Hell yeah! Yall will most likely beat UL Monroe today, I have a feeling the Rebs will beat LSU, and most likely Miss State. Good Luck!
