Because there are too many dumb people who voice opinions that nobody is interested in OR they do/say somthing incredibly stupid and worth ridiculing. People are really fickle too, so they insult at the drop of a hat.

I'm not saying that "bullies...are doing us a favour" and I do agree that it just spreads negativity. However, when you get people who look up a song and say that its crap and that something else is better, i think they should expect negativity and in doing so they leave themselves wide open for it.
