he wasnt mediocre he fort at a time when there was only one champ of each division which is how it should be, these days you have the champ of the wbc, wba,wbo and ibf and each is recognised as a world champion, the hurricane was a top contender and had more than a good chance of dethroning the current champ before he was arrested which means today he would be the undisputed middleweight champion, thats not mediocre
