nicely done guys, but one problem...colt 45? that would be an automatic, they didnt have those back in the time you're trying to recreate. SAA type revolvers are what you're looking for. 44's mostly. but it was funny.

The SAA (Colt Single Action Army) aka Peacemaker, was chambered in .45 colt. This round is more commonly referred to as .45 Long Colt.
The Colt .45 you seem to be thinking of is the Colt M1911 .45 which fires the .45 APC (Automatic Pistol Cartridge) and is commonly associated with World War II. Howeve, .44 was a common chambering back then, often written .44-40 denoting 40grains of powder.
